The Lead electrical engineer will become part of a creative competence environment in the company.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Monitor the performance of contractor’s electrical engineering and design activities according to contract
  • Contribute to multidiscipline co-ordination between engineering discipline
  • Follow up of deliveries from contractor’s electrical discipline with focus on technical content, budget and schedule
  • Ensure that contractor’s electrical discipline is properly manned to execute the agreed scope of work
  • Ensure that the activities on the discipline are within the agreed scope of work. Monitor and follow up variation orders for the discipline
  • Ensure that contractor’s electrical discipline is known with, and follow laws, regulations and technical requirements
  • Ensure that company provided items are follow laws, regulations and technical requirements
  • Keep project engineering manager fully informed about progress and problem areas
  • Qualifications

  • Master of Science degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as discipline lead
  • Experience with electrical design
  • Experience with management of contractors Experience from EPC projects
  • Personal qualities
