What you will do
We are looking to strengthen our Finance Team in Norway by hiring professional who will be finance focal point within leadership team of assigned Line of Business.
Our desired colleague will be providing financial leadership to local Branch Managers within assigned Line of Business as well be responsible for the quality of the financial reporting, both internal and external.
How you will do it
Acts as an executive Finance business partner to the assigned Line of Business leadership team providing continuous coaching in multi-discipline finance policies & processes.
Supports and contributes to the design and implementation of key business decisions & projects through pro-actively advising and engaging with the assigned Line of Business leadership team on all Finance matters.
Runs readiness and feasibility checks with the appropriate COE departments & in-country finance organization.
Provides input and collaborates with other business and / or support departments in the deployment of strategic business transformations or simplification programs to optimize current business and Finance processes and tools
Make a sound judgment on key Finance priorities and inform / promote effectively towards the business leaders
Translates business requirements into Finance strategy and planning for the assigned Line of Business in close liaison with other Finance Line of Business’s.
Leads communication effort of Finance initiatives and procedures within assigned Line of Business.
Ensure key Finance messages are promoted and cascaded down in the organization. Tracks compliance and defines corrective actions.
Ensures financial reports, metrics and analysis are provided to assigned Line of Business leadership team in support of operational reviews, key business decisions, etc.
Timely deals with any standard and ad-hoc Finance information requests.
Leads Planning and Forecasting process for assigned Line of Business to ensure regional and Branch plans translate into a Financial Plan.
Ensure proper control of the Line of Business business plans and performance through regular reviews (regional and local level), set benchmarking, backlog & pre-bid reviews, cash flow analysis, receivable and performance reviews.
Ensure proper internal controls are in place and followed.
Responsible for providing reliable and timely financial reporting in accordance with Corporate financial procedures.
Prepare business and financial reports in accordance with Corporate reporting requirements and initiate and prepare relevant reports for assigned Line of Business
Responsible for application of DOA. Ensure Delegation of Authority (DOA) compliance by all Branches.
Drive TWC and cash-flow. Advise on short term and long term working capital improvements and drive process optimization leading to sustainable working capital improvements.
Influence and channel change within assigned Line of Business.
Perform business analysis and ensure proper support of local Branch Managers.
Contribute to ensure that business practices and policies support efficient asset and risk management.
Exhibit and promote the highest level of ethics on conducting and supporting business transaction.
In addition to the above mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.
