Partner with business leadership and staff to drive operating performance & act as champion for strategic and growth initiatives within the organization

Ownership for developing Plant estimates, operating plans / forecasts / reviews includes Strategy Roadmap (3 / 5-year Plan), Blueprint / OP (1-year Plan)
Driving profitable growth & productivity by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions
Promote additional process migration to the hubs, and standardization in the hubs, in coordination with other countries and plants
Develop and improve financial processes : Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes, standard Production Cost set ups and analyses, Capital Investment
Provide Norwegian language support to Regional, Global and other teams as required
Role Summary / Purpose
In this role as Finance Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining a culture of cost control and accountability.
We rely on you for the predictable execution : transparent estimate processes and no surprises’ in quarterly financial close.
You are going to pursue process and productivity improvements in financial and operational processes. Additional you will be freeing up working capital.
Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of some years of financial work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews

Capable of forging strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues
Fluency in written and spoken English and Norwegian
Leadership experience : has experience balancing execution through others with inclusiveness, leveraging expertise, clear thinking, imagination, and external focus
Problem solving : has successfully led cross-functional projects / process improvement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills : experience working across multiple levels (including executive level) and functions;
able to clearly and proactively communicate
Confidence / Assertiveness : strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position
Solid PC skills : experience with financial systems / applications (i.e. : Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.
strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)
Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
Experience in dealing with statutory audit process and communication with external auditors
Adaptable / flexible : being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances
Basic understanding of financial compliance
