We are currently looking for our new Client Director to join the Norwegian office in Oslo. A Client Directors responsibility includes driving and creating a dynamic business environment for client interactions.
The job focuses on ensuring retention of existing business and on identifying and delivering targeted new business opportunities across the range of AIG products, by developing and maintaining relationships within a designated portfolio of clients and by securing strong relationships with key business influencers within major brokers.
Portfolio, Client and internal management As a Client Director in AIG you will be an indispensable partner to the business.
Your main tasks will be divided into three areas of responsibility : Portfolio Management Manage assigned portfolio of accounts from a client engagement, sales and marketing perspective Implement / support the marketing strategies to meet overall budget / goals for Norway.
Drive the AIG value proposition and ensure that clients are aware of the complete array of products and services available Deliver annual new business production and cross selling from existing clients in line with set objectives Meet or exceed renewal expectations for assigned portfolio Support plans to improve profitability, enhance service and strengthen relationships Client Management Be the senior point of contact for key clients and manage client satisfaction for dedicated accounts Ensure clients are engaged through implementation of best practices and escalation protocols Develop strategic links with the customer including potential investments, distribution plays and opportunities for other divisions of AIG to enhance touch points revenue Partner with Client brokers and other key brokers to assure that the client is serviced as expected Internal Management Manage and expand relationships with both brokers, advisors and clients among all AIG stakeholders Support change management with the commitment to grow and develop client engagement function Collaborate with Branch Manager to insure client engagement is integrated within the business plans We are looking for someone who has : Solid track record of managing major corporate client and broker relationships Ability to build relationships, internally and externally Ability to work across multiple areas of an organization Ability to influence brokers, clients, peers, senior executives and staff Experience of corporate insurance programmes with multinational clients, preferably including captives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven interpersonal skills. Solid profile and reputation in the commercial insurance market.
Knowledge from Property / Casualty insurance is an advantage Sales and business development experience preferably from a broker house Interested?
