Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend are looking for an experienced Scheduler / Senior Scheduler to provide schedule and planning services in OSLO / STAVANGER.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of working on complex large scale Construction projects within the Pharmaceutical, BioTech, Data Centre, Industrial, Logistics, Manufacturing, Chemical or similarly complex asset type.
Job ObjectivesMaintain and monitor master plan schedulePrepare and monitor tasks ensuring satisfactory realization of project requirements against the project scheduleIntegrate various contract packages into master plan scheduleReview contractor’s submitted schedule and make recommendations to clientPrepare regular internal / external weekly and monthly progress report for management and clientDevelop a project control procedure to monitor the progress of projectInteract with contractor and verify the project data to update project scheduleDevelop mitigation plansAssess any contractor’s extension of time claim and prepare defence claim reportPut forward recommendation report for any contractor’s EOT claimAnalyse critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes to project scheduleWork out site logistic planning for projectPrepare and propose micro-management’ schedules for critical elements of workSkills RequiredStrong Norwegian and English skills>
5 years scheduling / planning experienceKnowledge and experience of all of the main design or project management concepts, tools and techniquesExperience of working with General Contractors in a project management, or scheduler / planner capacityExcellent knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineeringUnderstanding of the financial aspects of a projectPrimavera P6 planner desirableMembership of a recognised professional bodyGood knowledge and experience gained within hi-tech, manufacturing, health, retail, leisure and hospitality, education, infrastructure, or commercial sectorsAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
