We are looking for a Territory Manager Endovascular based in Norway to join our team in the Nordics.

The Territory Manager Endovascular will be expected to work independently to drive revenue growth and account penetration within interventional radiology and vascular surgery.

The role is field based with main focus on visiting customers to maximize opportunities and deliver results. Territory area is Norway.

The product portfolio of responsibility includes market leading devices for peripheral vascular disease such as peripheral stents, balloons and guidewires, vascular closure devices and vascular plugs.

Primary objective of the position

  • Achieve territory total product sales targets and associated individual product targets. Carry out sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency, develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Provide clinical support and certify users of products in the Endo product portfolio.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to develop and deliver on call plans and account plans in order to meet agreed revenue targets.
  • Prepare and monitor tender. Works with Tender manager on submissions & execute on awards as required.
  • Complete and submit timely administration tasks such as customer record keeping (CRM), rolling forecasts, monthly highlights, expenses, etc.
  • in line with divisional standards. Manage samples, demo devices, promotional and phone expense budgets as per your plan spreadsheet to ensure expenses budget is contained.

  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met by the Company's products where possible.
  • Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Educational background and Work Experience

  • Experience (clinically or commercially) within Peripheral Intervention
  • Degree standard education in scientific or business discipline
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification or Medical / Paramedical certification eg. nursing or industry experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and good command of English.
  • Strong skills in building relationships gaining commitment through effective influencing and stakeholder management, customers, team members and management.
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize.
  • Self-drive to identify, initiate and implement projects independently of line manager.
  • Preferably prior learning of professional selling skills, especially within the medical devices or pharmaceutical arena
