THE POSITION & SUCCESS CRITERIA

The Career department in Mercer Norway provides high quality services and products within Career programs, pay and compensation, executive remuneration and competence development.

We are now strengthening our team with a Senior Sales Professional to join Mercer Norway. You will be responsible for sales to new and existing clients and building long-

lasting client relationships within the Human Resources and / or Rewards area.

You are a strong value-based sales professional with an outgoing nature and a keen interest in sales and relationship management.

You enjoy connecting with HR professionals to identify their needs and deliver the best possible solutions within the wide range of products and services Mercer has to offer.

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a sales role.

As well as driving sales and maintaining relationships with your clients, you will also be their main entry-point to Mercer and our broader service offerings.

Clients will come to you with questions on the use of our products and services, and you will be their link to Mercer’s center of excellence.

Our typical clients are international companies with headquarters in Norway, or subsidiaries of large multinationals. You will primarily deal with HR leaders, often with Compensation & Rewards responsibility -

knowledge and experience with pay, compensation and reward is a clear advantage, though not a requirement.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a trustworthy, reliable and persevering person, with a genuine motivation for achieving results. You understand HR challenges and are able to build business cases based on insight and experience.

  • 5 -7 years of commercial / sales experience
  • Track record of maintaining and expanding long term business relationships
  • Experience of new business and successfully executing the sales lifecycle from prospectingnew clients to closing and funding the deal.
  • Experience of consultative selling within the HR & Rewards field.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HR, Compensation and Rewards and Technology sales
  • Outgoing, driven and credible personality
  • Team oriented, curious and resourceful
  • Thrives in a high pace environment
  • Proficiency in English & Norwegian
