In Norway, Alstom is engaged in a major signalling project , which will carry out the renewal of the Norwegian train fleet (467 trains) with the ERTMS technology.
The Norwegian train fleet contains various classes of trains such as passenger trains, freight trains and work trains.
The project is planned in two phases. During the first phase (2019-2020), the ERTMS solution will be installed in 3 trains for testing and validation before the second phase (2021-
2026), the roll-out phase where the installation of the ERTMS solution will be done on all Norwegian trains.
To support the project, Alstom Norway is looking for a Methods Engineer with experience from production systems.
The Methods engineer will be based in Oslo and part of the engineering team.

The preferred candidate is well oriented in system of production, method or industrial process .

You are a rigorous person with a proactive and open-minded attitude with a strategic business understanding. You enjoy working in a busy environment and can demonstrate a track record of accountability and on-
time delivery. It is also important that you have good listening skills and are able to analyze and solve problems in an independent and efficient manner.
