We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join us and take full accountability for the cost-effective delivery of facilities across the Scandinavian business.

This role holds responsibility for delivering cost optimised facilities across the business to provide an excellent working environment for employees.

This includes supplier management, supplier rationalisation, maintenance and facilities management in general. You will be involved in both strategic planning and day-

to-day operations and in managing all client relationships.

Key accountabilities for this role include :

  • Ensuring Health & safety compliance across all buildings
  • Following design guidelines and branding requirements
  • Planning best allocation and utilisation of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organising current premises while reducing operating costs
  • Directing, coordinating and planning essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, M&E, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
  • Ensuring operational effectiveness is maintained across the portfolio
  • Planning and reactive maintenance programme
  • Inputting to disaster recovery and Business Continuity
  • Managing client relationship (occupiers of buildings)
  • Managing suppliers
  • Executing small projects to time, budget and quality requirements
  • Budgeting and P&L responsibility
  • We are looking for individuals able to demonstrate the following areas of expertise :

  • Proven experience within a similar facilities management position
  • Fluent in English and multiple Scandinavian languages
  • Strong knowledge of regulation / law in jurisdiction, able to work with legal agreements
  • Proven experience of contract management and client negotiation
  • Exceptional planning and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety
  • Management and leadership skills
