Strategic Partnerships Group, Nordics Partnerships Leader
Cognizant is looking for a passionate and energetic business development / alliance professional with a background in complex strategic programs / initiatives to join our Strategic Partnership Group (SPG).
SPG is chartered with driving significant revenue growth through joint market development programs withCognizant’s most strategic, global technology partners.
The successful candidate will own the end-to-end go to market (GTM) relationship with some of our key partners in Nordics (Microsoft, AWS and Google namely).
Primary responsibilities will include executing existing partner business plans, enhancing on them and formulating new ones, fostering the Partner relationships across Cognizant’s business units, orchestrating joint go-
to-market programs, and managing field sales & channel engagement.
Key responsibilities :
Successfully execute on existing partnership plan with the named / priority partners for the region and achieving / exceeding partnership goals with additional focus on revenue / pipeline
Enhance and expand new GTM initiatives with inputs from key stakeholders across Cognizant’s business units
Execute strategic joint go-to-market programs with Cognizant business units and partners
Execute joint account planning targets for pro-active business development
Outline joint marketing plans
Enable Sales and Technical training of teams
Collaborate closely with Cognizant’s country and business unit leadership to orchestrate
successful joint go-to-market programs and joint account planning exercises
Establish connects and help foster collaboration between sales / account / practice leaders and the Partner’s field sales and alliance teams
Provide deal support for opportunities with significant Partner component in the solution
Develop a deep understanding of the partner products, strategies, customer value, and go-to market approaches
Set up robust executive governance by partnership focus areas, roll up to exec sponsors and business reviews
10-15 years of experience in business development, partner management and / or strategic deal teams, with a track record of exceeding revenue goals and driving successful programs
Experience working with / for Global System Integrators and / or global IVSs / Technology Vendors such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.
Prefer a candidate with existing Microsoft, AWS relationships and / or prior experience
selling / delivering with Microsoft or AWS
Extensive experience with partnership negotiations and technical acumen to define the joint
strategy for the strategic initiatives
Strong business acumen and leadership skills
Team player with strong drive and willing to take a leadership role in driving initiatives, working effectively across organizations, and creating unique approaches to developing new revenue opportunities
Technical undergraduate degree preferred; MBA a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
