Role Summary / Purpose
The DevOps Software Engineer has responsibilities extending to the development, operation and maintenance of the software infrastructure used for handheld ultrasound product development.
Operate and maintain a GitLab based DevOps setup.
Designing and implementing optimized DevOps steps for release and deployment of embedded software and Android / iOS apps.
Design and implement quality gates in the continuous integration environment.
Integrate Amazon Device Farm test runs in the DevOps environment
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related computer field
Experience with operating and maintaining a DevOps software environment
Experience in cross platform and application development
Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, yaml
Software development lifecycle and automated testing experience
Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as Git or subversion
Experience in software platform, software test automation, advanced applications, user-interface design, embedded and / or systems engineering
Experience in object-oriented design methodology and various programming languages, including C / C++.
