Therapy Area Manager, Oncology

We are looking for a successful Therapy Area Manager with experience from pharmaceutical sales and marketing to work with our industry leading immuno-

oncology therapies. You will have responsibility for the sales and marketing within specific tumors that match with your expertise and interest.

You collaborate closely with customers to understand the challenges that they face and find ways to address them together bringing our industry leading innovations to more patients, faster.

Then you could be our new Therapy Area Manager, Oncology, for MSD’s activities in Norway.

You are a valued partner to our customers

As our new Therapy Area Manager, you are responsible for identifying customer needs and creating business opportunities that help patients, customers and MSD alike.

Spending 80% of your working time on customer focused activities, you will quickly become our expert on the needs and considerations of hospitals, decision-

makers and patients. Working well within the framework of our own strict ethical code and local regulations, you establish close working relationships with your stakeholders.

Combining your customer insight with your expertise in developing successful programmes and customer solutions, you add additional value to our medicines and treatments.

You will be expected to leverage digital communication and solutions as an integral part of your customer activity mix. You understand how this can drive brand objectives and design campaigns around.

In addition to this, you also :

  • Act as single point of contact for priority accounts across the Norway
  • Manage projects and brand planning activities
  • Continuously share customer information internally through our CRM system
  • Travel 2-3 weeks a year for business meetings and periodically attend evening meetings
  • Collaborate with and share relevant insights on stakeholders
  • Work closely with your Business Unit Head to develop your business
  • Your primary focus is in the field of Oncology, but over time you have the opportunity to expand into other fields as well, adding further value to MSD and to your CV.
