The wireline operator will participate in wireline operations offshore and provide support for the wireline crew.
This role reports to the Offshore Supervisor and Onshore Operation Supervisor.
Key responsibilities (not limited to)
The key responsibilities include carrying out Adherence to Health, Environment and Safety regulations shall always be the paramount goals.
Promote and provide cable operations in a professional manner, in order for optimal solutions for our customers and equipment resources.
The Wireline Operator shall carry out the tasks ordered by the Supervisor and the SR Operator at all times.
Participate in preparation and execution of cable work in accordance with approved procedures.
Adhere to operating and safety routines.
Participate in preparation of equipment; make sure that all necessary equipment is in the right place at the right time.
Overlap and ensure experience transfer with the Wireline Operator on the opposite shift.
Familiarise yourself with the Client's regulations and procedures.
Use your initiative to familiarise yourself with the handling of tools and equipment in order for operations to be carried out professionally and safely at all times.
Responsible, together with Senior Operator for cleaning and maintenance of equipment in order with current instructions and procedures for the Installation and the equipment supplier.
Any other reasonable duties as specified by Line Manager.
Experience and Qualifications
Craft Certificate Mechanical Wireline
Experience as wireline operator offshore minimum two years.
Valid Health Certificate, Basic Safety Training, Traverse crane (G4), Wireline Mast (G20), IWCF is preferred.
Good computer skills.
Good knowledge of English spoken and written.
Self-motivated and team oriented.
Good knowledge and understanding of QHSSE.
Fluent in Norwegian and English oral and written is a must.
