About the Unit
Yara Crop Nutrition Nordic region covers Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and also the Baltic countries Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The core markets of the Nordic region are mature markets where Yara has very strong position and has been developing the role of market leadership with our YaraBela, YaraMila, YaraLiva and YaraVita products.
Total yearly sales volume of the region is approximately two mill. tons of fertilizers. Yara Nordic is well positioned among farmers.
The region has a clear target to further deepen the end user communication and to position Yara strongly in the whole value chain.
This goes hand in hand with Yara Crop Nutrition strategy where region Nordic is one of the forerunners in Yara.
As the current position holder will move to new position within Yara we are now looking for a new key account manager in Norway.
Full responsibility for sales, volume, position and profitability concerning your account.
Develop a solid and trusted relationship between Yara s accounts and company.
Participate in negotiating contracts and establishing timeline of perfomance.
Establishing and overseeing internal budget with the company and external budgets with the accounts.
Maintain and further develop good alignment between Yara and your account in all co-operation areas, such as marketing, product management, logistics, salesforce training etc.
Establish and drive projects with your account to develop business opportunities in market with farmers and other stakeholders.
Establish and lead a key account team (marketing and agronomy) to support achievement of commercial targets with your account short and long term.
Planning, execution and follow up of commercial operations with your account.
Build good and sustainable co-operation between Yara and your account.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a commercial position in relevant business with a strong link to agribusiness.
Successfully built good cooperation and results both internally and externally with different stakeholders internally and externally;
proven track record of successful account management and sales.
Good insight of the agri / food sector future development and success factors.
Good understanding of utilizing CRM systems to drive business.
Strong commercial mindset, structured and with high drive and energy.
Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on contracts.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Open, approachable with positive attitude and ability to interact well in different cultures and with different people.
Language requirements; fluent written and spoken Norwegian and English is a must.
The position is based in Oslo, Norway and will report to the Market Manager Norway.
